>>>Approach to student ministry (11th&12th/9th&10th/MS)
>>>MS can begin building habits now.
>>>Sometimes people can get so caught up in life they do not always think on the big picture (God).

CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

>>>Our choices are “seeds” that will bring about certain outcomes (good or bad).
*The choice to/not to practice/workout has the consequence of how you play on the team. Same for studies, behavior, time, etc.
>>>Paul says in Galatians 6 that people will reap what the sow (receive what is planted).
Galatians 6:8For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.”
>>>Paul takes this analogy and uses it to compare sowing in the flesh vs. sowing in the Spirit.
*Flesh=destruction/Spirit=eternal life
>>>What someone chooses to do will bring about a certain consequence. The choices are destruction or eternal life.
*Adam and Eve had a choice in the garden of whether to stay if fellowship w/God or follow their own way.
>>>When we make decisions based on our flesh/will, we see destructive consequences. We may defend/blame, but we chose to do wrong.
>>>If we make decisions based on the Holy Spirit, he brings us further into the life God intends for us, making us holy in the process.
*It’s hard to sin when following the Spirit.
>>>You will not be where you are forever. Choose the life of the Spirit.
*Surrender/overcoming
*Witnessing
*Growing
*Serving/leading
*Establishing godly habits
>>>God has given you this time in EVERY way (background/school/living at home/church) to use for His glory.
>>>Some need to use this opportunity to trust Christ.
